$125,000- $150,000 Annual Salary OBJECTIVE (POSITION SUMMARY) The primary role of the VP Field Sales is Driving new Sales across the Company Store network by supporting, guiding and motivating the Sales team by providing the full suite of Transportation services to Customers and by exercising independent judgement and decision making that align with the Company's capabilities and initiatives.
The Vice President of Field Sales works with the Company's senior management to drive growth to achieve the Company's objectives of sales, margins, along with providing a solid work ethic that is consistent with the company's corporate strategy and culture.
The incumbent must possess strong leadership, sales and management abilities.
Responsible for assisting Company Store General Managers in attracting and developing future sales leaders, indirectly managing current sales representatives in the field, and supporting, managing the Salesforce CRM initiative.
Assisting GM's in the day to support of Sales Reps, by counseling, motivating and coaching as needed.
Other duties may be assigned by the Sr VP as required to ensure the corporate goals and initiatives are achieved.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
In this position, the VP Field Sales is responsible for:
Constantly communicate with customers through personal visits, phone calls and emails, video calls to discuss opportunities, concerns or corrective actions required.
Ensure compliance and that customer profiles are up to date in the Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) software application.
Generate monthly sales reports through the CRM as well as producing sales data for RGL's quarterly Board Meeting.
Support the Intl Ops team as needed with Sales Lead generation and joint sales calls with our Intl Strategic Partners.
Anticipate customer requirements and meet those needs in a professional and proactive manner.
Provide customer service that exceeds expectations.
Cultivate strong personal relationships with a broad base of management and staff in support of customer / account objectives.
Effectively communicate internally to ensure that customer needs are met or exceeded in a timely fashion.
Develop, implement, and deliver on the pre-determined sales plan.
Manage any conflicts and issues, by quickly and effectively resolving problems and developing action plans to prevent recurrence.
Use the appropriate resources to nurture relationships and deliver business results.
Identify new business opportunities that exist within the customer / territory base.
Help Sales Reps to contact, establish, cultivate, and develop existing accounts within their assigned areas.
Identify new selling opportunities.
Rethink and develop new features to provide benefits for the customer.
Determine, evaluate, and report special trends in the customer / territory base.
Provide management with an appropriate forecast of results and opportunities.
Understand Radiant' corporate vision and long-term strategic goals.
Provide input to senior management on the development of these goals such as volume, margin, and revenue growth through the CRM (Customer Relation Management) tool.
Provide input to the annual budget.
Other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Education and Industry Knowledge Bachelor / Associate degree, in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or related discipline.
Minimum 5
years' experience in the transportation / logistics industry of which 5 years are in a sales role.
Knowledge of product spot market pricing.
Complete understanding and use of all aspects of the Freight Forwarding transportation industry.
Good knowledge of U.

and global geography.
Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.
g.
, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Intermediate skills required in Excel (i.
e.
, formulas, pivot tables).
Working knowledge of Transportation Management Software (e.
g.
, SAP,).
Experience with CRM applications is an asset, i.
e.
, Salesforce.
